Joey Wang
Joey Wang was born and raised in Beijing, currently a New York-based photographer. Her artistic works are influenced by the city's creative scene, especially in photography.
Her images were recognized and published on Vogue Italia, Sicky Magazine, Schön! Magazine, The Cut, Chip Foto-Video, Solstice Magazine, Imirage Magazine, LYUN Magazine, etc. She is also active in commercial photography. She was invited to work with brands such as Tom Ford, Kate Spade, Anna Sui, etc during New York Fashion Week. Her works have been exhibited internationally in New York, Beijing, and Shanghai.
Joey has been exploring her own aesthetic and developed a strong personal style. Her female-centric images, often in film colors, make a bold statement on femininity and independence in her subject matter. Her work stands out with a vintage edge and monochrome color.
Her fashion photography goes against the trend. She uses fashion as an attempt to explore deeper emotional bond and beauty in the commonplace. She sees photography as an intimate approach to achieve authenticity, personally and socially.
Joey Wang hopes to empower her audience with raw personal emotions, with a reflection on deeper social construction and surroundings.
王钊音
1995年出生于北京，2017年移居美国，现生活在美国纽约。作为青年时尚摄影师的王钊音在纽约时尚摄影界初出茅庐，她的摄影作品曾多次被Vogue Italia选入，并在纽约时装周期间为Tom Ford、Kate Spade和Anna Sui等知名品牌拍摄时装秀。与众多国内外大牌明星合作拍摄，如Anna Wintour、Coco Rocha、Alessandra Ambrósio、王家卫、陈漫、雎晓雯、景甜、陈柏霖等。拍摄作品被LVMH集团收录。摄影作品曾于纽约、北京和上海的知名画廊参与展出。
她并非科班出身，但却凭借自己对时尚摄影的执着找到了属于自己的发展路径。她的作品没有过多华丽精致的光线，也较少看到很多时尚摄影师善用的后期修图技术，但这一切却透露着一种原生的力量，那是她作品中最为吸引人的细腻部分。热爱生活，更擅于观察生活的她，有着异于常人的敏锐洞察力，她善于捕捉人物的情绪，并以独特的胶片和黑白色调来展现被拍摄人物的特殊魅力。
她一直在追寻属于自己的美学理念，并希望通过摄影作品来展现“人类与社会”的一种微妙关系。她说：“摄影给了我很多生活的动力，当我拍摄到感人的瞬间，我会觉得这个世界特别美好，这个瞬间被我捕捉后，它就成为了我记忆的一部分。”
